Responsibilities:            

• Cut tiles and shape them to fit around obstacles and in tight corners using power and hand tools.
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue, or mortar with tools such as screeds, brushes, and trowels.
• Align tiles and ensure even, precise patterns using straightedges, levels, and squares.
• Cut, install, polish, and surface granite and marble, ensuring accuracy for lasting results.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling with water proofing material or lath and ensure surfaces are clean.
• Create decorative wall and floor designs by setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
• Carefully tap tiles into place using tools to properly adhere them to the base without damage.
• Follow blueprints precisely, marking and measuring surfaces to determine job requirements.

Requirement

• Candidate Willingness to complete on-the-job training.
•  Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience setting tiles.
• Carpentry and renovation experience is a plus.
• Proficient in English communication.
